No bridezillas here!!!

I never cease to be amazed at my customers. Bridezillas must be a figment of TV 's imaginings, because, hand on heart, the brides for whom I have created stationery have been truly delightful.

They have exhibited varying degrees of knowing-exactly-what they-wantedness - from specifying and selecting many details to leaving it all to my judgement.
The satisfaction we both realise is when a design is born simply out of a customer request.
Originally just a Save the Date Postcard, this suite of stationery is Angeline - named after the customer who loved the Save the Date and  requested that I develop the design to include invitations, menus, place-cards (tag-style was her choice and suits the design perfectly), table stationery and a table plan!!

Gorgeous soft pastel shades of blue and pink
- I love this design
- I wish I'd thought of it!!!

Vintage Wedding Invitation - Antique Lavender Roses

A vintage wedding invitation with more to come.

I am really looking forward to developing this into a full suite of wedding stationery. The ornate frame with these pinky lavender roses has a real aged look to it, and put on a base of kraft card, bottle green card and gold card helps to add to the "antiquey" look.
It has a triple bow of lace, ribbon and jute string.
I have already made the Save the Date cards and will make matching RSVP cards, place-cards, Order of Service, Menus and Table-plans.
I will post photos when the suite is ready.

more chic than shabby

...it so is!!

I've wanted to create this invitation for a long time - love the colour combinations of pink silver and white.

Why can't I do grungey????

..much as I love the grungey look I don't seem to be able to create it myself.  On the contrary I go to enormous lengths to clean images up.
Maybe it's because I believe for her wedding a bride will want to have everything perfect. When I started making vintage style wedding invitations I was worried they didn't look dare I say new?? - well I managed to reconcile the old with new but grungey I'll have to work harder at.
In the meantime here are a couple of rustic (is that as close as I'll get?) designs.

Incidentally I paid £21 for a roll of jute string (5" of which I have used in the first design) - my husband seemed to think that was expensive!!!!! Men huh!!! what do men know about these things???

Vintage Wedding Table Plan

Rose Gold Frame

I just love the combination of colours in this design, the beautiful aqua and pinks, green and ivory.
I adore these ornate frames - it's hard to part with them.
